Autosecretary V 4.00
(Automated attendant for Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP)
Autosecretary (automated attendant) software is a full featured verbal dialogue
with telephone user designer. Not only it allows sending voice messages over
a phone line, it also makes possible creation of realistic verbal dialogues
with caller. The caller can use tonal input on his phone to interact with
the program.
The scenery of interacting with caller is build up from simple blocks that
can be arranged in any suitable way. The scenery commands allow interaction
with both modem and database simultaneously thus implementing a gateway
between the phone line and the database.
The program can create voice commands both from plain text and from numbers
in different languages. When pronouncing numbers and dates the output can be
configured to specific format as well as to specific currency type.
Besides that, the voice patterns can be synthesized both from static and
database text. Autosecretary supports caller ID utilizing built-in modem
caller ID feature. Line input sound recording is possible. The recorded
message can be placed to database for further listening or use as a voice
command block.
The program can work with multiple modems and run multiple scenarios
simultaneously. Any ODBC-compatible data source can be used (such as
text files, Excel documents, Access databases, Oracle, MS SQL, FoxPro etc.)
General modes of operation:
Caller Mode.
Voice interaction with phone line user is initiated by
Autosecretary. The program dials specified phone number, detects pick-up
event and starts automatic voice dialogue with user. During the voice
interaction sound recording is possible. The recorded messages can be
listened via sound card or be used as scenario commands.
Answering Machine Mode.
Voice interaction with caller is initiated by the caller
himself on dialing your phone number. Autosecretary receives the incoming
call and starts scenery-command-driven interaction with the caller.
Autosecretary supports caller ID utilizing built-in modem caller ID feature.
Line Capture Mode.
This mode is intended for recording any conversations that
occur over the given phone line. The recorded data can then be easily
listened to.
The given division into modes of operation is quite illusory since
the scenery-command-driven nature of the program allows mixing any modes
and features within one scenery allowing secretarial support to virtually
any work process. For more information on creating interaction sceneries
see the corresponding section of help.
